Class 2 (Cat C) Roll on Roll off driver

About the Role

We’re recruiting a Class 2 (Cat C) Roll on Roll off (RoRo) driver to operate across a twin-site recycling operation between Peterborough and Northampton. A RoRo skip is a large-capacity waste container (typically 20–40 cubic yards) used for high-volume waste and moved via a specialised hook-lift vehicle using a roll-on/roll-off mechanism.

This is ongoing work, ideal for a reliable driver who enjoys a varied schedule and working independently.

The Job

• Operate roll on roll off vehicles across two sites (Peterborough & Northampton)

• Local short-distance transport between recycling sites

• Conduct vehicle checks and complete paperwork

• Represent the business professionally while working independently

• Cover scheduled shifts:

  • Friday: 06:45 – 16:30 – Northampton

  • Saturday: 07:30 – 16:00 – Peterborough

  • Sunday: 07:30 – 16:00 – Peterborough

  • Monday: 06:45 – 16:30 – Northampton

  • Tuesday: 06:45 – 16:30 – Northampton

What You’ll Need

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence

• CPC qualification

• Digi Tacho card

• Clean driving record (no major endorsements)
