Job Summary
Driver Hire are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 ADR Driver to join our professional and dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely multi-drop delivery of hazardous goods to our domestic, agricultural, and commercial customers.
Driver Hire are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 ADR Driver to join our professional and dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely multi-drop delivery of hazardous goods to our domestic, agricultural, and commercial customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily safety checks and basic maintenance of your Class 2 vehicle.
- Safely load, transport, and offload hazardous materials in packages or tanks, strictly adhering to ADR regulations.
- Perform multi-drop deliveries to various customer sites, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and daily vehicle check sheets, including digital tachograph data.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with the transport team and customers.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, driver hours regulations, and health and safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Licence: Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Qualifications: Valid ADR licence (covering specific classes relevant to your business, e.g., tanks or packages).
- Certificates: Up-to-date Driver CPC qualification card and Digital Tachograph card.
- Experience: A minimum of 12 months of HGV driving experience is preferred.
- Clean Licence: No more than 6 penalty points for insurance purposes (minor offences only). NO DD, DR, TT
- Knowledge: Good understanding of ADR safety standards and driver hours legislation.
