About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) RoRo Skip Driver to join a well-established UK industrial and commercial roofing contractor with over 45 years of experience. The company specialises in refurbishment, cladding, and flat roofing solutions across factories, warehouses, and commercial buildings.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and skilled driver seeking stable, ongoing work with a reputable business.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating Roll-On Roll-Off (RoRo) skip vehicles safely and efficiently
- Driving drawbar units (essential requirement)
- Transporting materials to and from commercial and industrial sites
- Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant with regulations
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Adhering to all driver hours, tachograph, and safety regulations
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Proven experience operating RoRo skip vehicles
- Essential: Drawbar experience
- Good understanding of driver regulations and safety standards
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
