Job Overview:
Driver Hire Chertsey is seeking experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our client’s logistics operations. This role is ideal for professional drivers who value safety, reliability, and efficient delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles to deliver and collect goods across the UK.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of consignments.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle checks and report any issues.
- Maintain proper documentation, including delivery logs and vehicle records.
- Adhere to all UK transport laws and company safety policies.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and site personnel.
- Assist with loading and unloading when required.
Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
- Proven experience as a Class 1 driver in logistics or haulage.
- Good knowledge of UK road networks and transport regulations.
- Ability to work independently and manage schedules efficiently.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to safety and professional driving standards.
