🚛 Class 1 (C+E) Drivers Wanted – Driver Hire Edinburgh West 🚛
Location: West Lothian
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Job Type: Ad Hoc / Casual / Part-Time (Full-Time hours sometimes available, but not guaranteed)
Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver seeking flexible work without the commitment of a full-time contract? We’re looking for reliable, safety-focused, and professional drivers to join our team for ad hoc assignments across West Lothian and nearby areas.

What We’re Looking For

Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence

Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

Minimum 1 year’s Class 1 driving experience (essential)

No more than 6 penalty points (for minor offences only)
-
No IN, DD, DR, or CD endorsements
-
Strong communication and customer service skills
-
A solid understanding of driver hours, rules, and regulations

A flexible, professional approach to work
Typical Duties May Include
-
Trunking and long-distance deliveries
-
General haulage, trailer swaps, and A–B vehicle movements

Loading and unloading when required
-
Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with all safety standards
