Class 1 Container Drivers – (Ad Hoc Work)
Hours: 6:00am – 6:00pm (Monday to Saturday)
Location: Southampton Docks
Driver Hire Winchester are currently recruiting Class 1 Shunting Drivers to join our team working on an ad hoc basis. This role is ideal for drivers looking for flexible work with a trusted local agency.
You’ll be responsible for moving containers, ensuring operations run smoothly and safely. Full training and induction will be provided, including a driving assessment before you start.

What You’ll Need:
- Valid Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence
- Up-to-date CPC and Digi Tacho card
- DP World card – is beneficial, not essential
- Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience (3+ months container or shunting preferred)
- Good communication and timekeeping skills
- Own transport for commuting
