🚚 Class 1 & Class 2 HGV Drivers – Flexible & Ongoing Work
📍 Location: Inverness & Surrounding Areas
💷 Pay: £17.74 – £22.54 per hour (PAYE)
🕒 Start Date: Immediate
📅 Contract Type: Full-Time, Part-Time & Ad-Hoc Options Available
Driver Hire Inverness is currently recruiting HGV Drivers for ongoing work, delivering chilled and ambient products to stores within the Highland area, this will be cage deliveries, some elements will involve hand balling. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers who are looking for full time work or those looking for flexible work patterns to suit their lifestyle.
We currently have two ongoing stores available:
🧊 Role:
- 🚛 Class 1 & 2 Drivers
- 🚛 Delivering chilled and ambient goods to stores
- 📦 Cage deliveries with some handballing
- 🕐 Start times range from 00:15 – 07:00
- 👤 Working independently
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Safe and timely delivery of goods
- Loading and unloading using cages or trollies
- Manual handling of products
- Completing delivery paperwork or using handheld devices
- Vehicle checks before and after shifts
- Maintaining a professional and courteous manner
📋 Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 1 or Class 2 (Cat C+E or Cat C) Licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (No DR, IN or TT codes)
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, days, and nights
