Class 1 ADR Night Driver

Driver Hire Teesside are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) ADR Driver for a full-time, ongoing position based in Middlesbrough.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for long-term, stable work with a well-established operation.

The Role

• Night trunking and trailer swaps between key UK locations (including Widnes, Irlam & Cumbernauld)
• Working independently to complete scheduled runs
• Ensuring all loads are transported safely and in line with regulations
• Maintaining high standards of safety and compliance at all times

This role will suit a driver who is confident working alone and able to manage their own hours and workload effectively.

The Package

• Full-time position (following 13-week temp period)
• Average 48 hours per week (26-week reference period)
• Performance bonus available upon permanent placement
• Modern, well-maintained vehicle and equipment

Equipment

• Dedicated, modern unit with:
  • Built-in sat nav
  • Camera systems
  • Fridge
  • Safety aids
• SDC trailers with bungee net load security

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• ADR (packages) essential
• Previous experience in trunking / night work
• Strong understanding of driver hours and tachograph compliance
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Good communication and attention to detail

Recruitment Process
