About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer‑focused Car Sales Executive to join our dealership team. Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Sales
- Welcome customers to the showroom and deliver a professional introduction to vehicles and services.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable models, specifications, and finance options.
- Conduct engaging vehicle demonstrations, test drives, and product presentations.
- Negotiate pricing, part‑exchange valuations, and sales terms in line with dealership policies.
- Manage the full sales process from enquiry to vehicle handover, ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience.
Product & Brand Knowledge
- Maintain strong knowledge of models, features, technology, and benefits.
- Stay informed about new releases, product updates, and brand campaigns.
- Explain technical information clearly and confidently to customers.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build long‑term customer relationships to encourage repeat sales and referrals.
- Follow up leads promptly via phone, email, and face‑to‑face communication.
- Update the CRM system with customer interactions, lead progress, and sales activity.
Sales Administration & Compliance
- Work closely with Sales Administration to ensure accurate documentation and compliance.
- Assist customers in providing required documents (ID, proof of address, etc.).
- Ensure all finance proposals and agreements comply with FCA guidelines.
Dealership & Team Support
- Maintain showroom standards and vehicle displays in line with brand expectations.
- Support promotional events, product launches, and customer handover ceremonies.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across sales, service, and management teams.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience in a customer‑facing sales role (automotive experience beneficial but not essential).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Confident, enthusiastic, and able to build rapport quickly.
- Good IT skills, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Previous experience as a Car Sales Executive within a franchised dealership.
- Knowledge of vehicles and the wider automotive market.
- Understanding of FCA regulations and automotive finance processes.

Salary Expectation
£15,000 retainer OTE £48,000
