Driver Hire Bridgwater is seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Business Administrator Apprentice (Level 3). This is an excellent opportunity for someone with existing office experience who is eager to progress their career through structured training and real-world experience in the logistics and recruitment sector.
About the Role
As a Business Administrator Apprentice, you will split your time between:

1 day per week of formal study and training with college provider.

4 days per week of hands-on, practical experience in our Bridgwater office.
This structured programme will provide you with in-depth exposure to all areas of business operations, including:
Recruitment and HR processes.
Marketing, business development, and social media management.
Payroll and finance administration.
Logistics sector operations and compliance.
Client meetings to learn about contract tendering and business negotiations.
Day-to-day employee support and management tasks.
What You’ll Be Doing
During your apprenticeship, you will gain experience in:
Managing everyday office administration and record keeping.
Using Microsoft Office and other workplace software confidently.
Organising workloads and meeting deadlines.
Answering and making business calls for day-to-day operations.
Supporting recruitment activities, including interviews and onboarding.
Assisting with payroll and HR functions.
Attending client meetings to understand contracts and tendering processes.
Supporting and contributing to social media campaigns.
Handling day-to-day employee enquiries and issues.
Meeting and engaging with clients to support ongoing business relationships.

What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in an office environment.
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Confident communication skills, both on the phone and in person.
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
A full driving licence (required).
Must be 18+ due to insurance requirements.
