7.5 Tonne HGV Driver – Flooring Distribution | Chelmsford Temp to perm needed asap .
£32000 after the 12 week temp to perm
Weekly Pay: £13.75 per hr(excl. holiday pay) / £15.40 per hr (incl. holiday pay)
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Start Time: 6:00 AM
Contract Type: Temp-to-Perm (12 weeks)
Hours: Monday to Friday (occasional weekends)
Minimum Pay: 10 hours per day, paid weekly Overtime: After 8 hours/day at £17.87/hour
Driver Hire Chelmsford & Harlow is recruiting on behalf of a respected flooring company based in Chelmsford.
We’re looking for a skilled and dependable 7.5T HGV Driver to join their team, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent role after 12 weeks.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely deliver flooring products and materials across London
- Load and unload your own vehicle using electric pallet trucks and tail lifts
- Maintain a professional and courteous approach with clients
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries
What You’ll Need
- Valid 7.5T (Category C1) licence
- CPC qualification and Digi Tacho card
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
- Good working knowledge of London roads and traffic patterns
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Work Location
- Based in Chelmsford, covering Harlow and surrounding areas
- In-person role
