Driver Hire Southampton are now recruiting for a 7.5 tonne driver to work with one of our clients in the Southampton area. For this position you will be delivering and collecting trays of surgical tools to hospitals in the South Coast area. You will be required to operate a tail lift. Our client is willing to take applicants that are newly qualified and provide training.
About this 7.5t role:
· Ongoing work between Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays
· 2:00pm start, finishing around 10pm
· Driving a 7.5T vehicle
· 2-4 drops
· Long distance driving
· Operating a tail lift
· Delivering/ collecting sterile or disinfected surgical tools on trolleys
What we require from you as a 7.5t Driver:
· Full UK 7.5T (C1) driving licence
· Valid CPC and Digi Tacho cards
· Happy with manual handling
· Ensure all tachograph records are maintained correctly
· Previous experience in operating a tail lift preferred
· Happy to complete evening shifts
· Ensure documentation/ records are up to date
