7.5t Local Delivery Driver
Location: Crewe
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Working hours: Monday – Saturday Flex, 5 out of 6 days 01:30am start time
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Crewe based business for an experienced 7.5t Local Delivery Driver to support their busy transport operation based in Crewe.
This role involves multi-drop deliveries to local outlets, working to scheduled delivery times.
Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks in line with DVSA standards

Picking, loading and securing goods correctly for delivery

Completing local deliveries

Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, accurately and on time

Completing all required paperwork and temperature checks

Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting any defects or incidents

Driving in a safe, professional and courteous manner at all times

Following all company procedures
Health, Safety & Compliance:

Working safely at all times and adhering to site rules

Reporting hazards, near misses or defects promptly

Maintaining good housekeeping and hygiene standards

Using PPE correctly and supporting a safe working environment
Candidate Requirements:

Valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence

Driver CPC in date

Experience using a digital tachograph

Previous multi-drop or similar delivery experience preferred

Reliable, flexible and professional approach to work

Strong awareness of road safety and compliance
