Driver Hire Darlington is currently recruiting an experienced 7.5 tonne (C1) Driver for long‑term supply work with a well‑established client based in Darlington. This is a physical, customer‑facing role delivering to residential addresses, where access can vary.
The Role:
- Driving a 7.5t vehicle carrying goods to domestic properties
- Manual handling as part of day‑to‑day deliveries
- Delivering to a wide range of home addresses, including restricted or challenging access locations
- Safely loading and unloading goods, following company procedures
- Providing a professional and courteous service to customers
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with C1 (7.5t) entitlement
- Previous 7.5t driving experience essential
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
- Confident delivering to residential areas with varying access
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card
- Reliable, punctual, and customer‑focused
