Start Time: 01:30 AM | Finish Time: Approx. 09:30 AM
Hours: Standard 8-hour shifts
Type: Immediate Start – Ad Hoc / Flexible Days
Salary: Competitive – dependent on experience
Key Role Information
We’re recruiting on behalf of our client for experienced 7.5 Tonne (C1) Delivery Drivers based in Crewe.
This role involves delivering stored food products to approximately 10 retail stores across Staffordshire each shift.
The position offers an immediate start for a full week’s work, followed by ongoing ad-hoc shifts thereafter. Flexibility is key, as shift patterns will vary depending on delivery schedules and operational needs.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service and vehicle care.
Requirements

Valid C1 (7.5 Tonne) driving licence (Grandad rights accepted)

Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

Good understanding of driver hours and road regulations

Ability to start early (01:30 AM) and work independently

Comfortable with multi-drop delivery routes

Flexible availability for ad-hoc shifts
Person Specification

Previous experience in a delivery driver or logistics role is highly desirable

Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing work patterns

Strong communication and customer service skills

Physically capable of handling light-to-moderate loading and unloading

Local knowledge of Crewe and the wider Staffordshire area advantageous
