Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver
Location: Preston Area
Salary: £15.69 – £19.69 per hour PAYE
Job Type: Full-time
Shift Pattern: Days Monday to Friday.
Job Description:
We are currently seeking 6 HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team at local respected and growing logistics providers. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable, professional drivers who are looking for consistent work with local reputable companies
Key Responsibilities:
- Trunking and depot-to-depot deliveries and pick ups.
- Ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods
- Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with all DVSA regulations
- Accurate completion of paperwork and use of tachograph
- Communicating effectively with transport planners and other team members
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license
- Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience
- A good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations
- A flexible and professional can do attitude
