🚛 Class 1 Inbound Shunter – Day Shift – IMMEDIATE START
Location: Mallusk, Newtownabbey
Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: £18.34 per hour OT £25.96 after 40 HRS
Contract Type: Full-time, temp to perm
About the Role: We’re seeking a reliable and proactive Class 1 Inbound Shunter to join our logistics team in Mallusk. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured daytime hours and thrives in a fast-paced yard environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely shunt trailers and vehicles within the yard and short distances
- Support the Transport Manager with daily operational tasks
- Debrief drivers
- Assist with yard organisation
- Driver assessments / training and compliance checks (training will be provided)
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Tug experience
- Forklift licence desirable
- Strong communication and organizational skills
