Driver Hire Inverness is recruiting a Class 2 Tanker Driver for a full-time position based in Elgin. Initially offered as a 6-month contract with the potential to become permanent, this is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced HGV driver or a newer driver looking to develop their skills and gain valuable industry experience. Offering competitive pay and enhanced overtime rates for weekend work, this role provides excellent earning potential. ADR training can be provided for the right candidate, and applicants should be flexible to support the needs of the business, including occasional weekend shifts. An immediate start is available for the successful candidate.
✅ Role Details:
- Initially offered as a 6-month contract with the potential to become permanent
- Flexible working days required with occasional weekends
- Start time around 08:00
- £17.70 per hour with excellent overtime rates
🚛 Typical Duties May Include:
- ADR deliveries
- Local and regional driving
- Safe loading and unloading
- Daily Vehicle checks
- Completion of paperwork inline with ADR regulations
📋 Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Cat C) HGV Licence
- Valid ADR Licence ( or willingness to go through training)
- CPC and Digi cards
- No more than 6 points ( No DR, TT or IN convictions)
