Are you an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver looking for ongoing work with a well-known retailer.
Driver Hire Sheffield is looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our client delivering DIY and home improvement products for B&Q across South Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
Commutable from: Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Barnsley & Chesterfield
Duration: Ongoing work for several months, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate
Induction required prior to starting
About the Role:
• Delivering DIY and home improvement products to customers on behalf of B&Q
• Home deliveries across South Yorkshire and surrounding areas
• Operating a HIAB crane and managing your own load using an ALLMI C5 + E qualification
• Working as part of a two-person team , you’ll always be accompanied by a driver’s mate
• Rotating shift pattern:
• Monday to Friday – 07:00 AM starts
• Overtime available
• Every alternate Saturday Available – 08:00 AM starts
• A customer-facing role where professionalism and excellent customer service are essential
• Representing both the client and Driver Hire in a professional manner at all times
What We’re Looking For:
• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid HIAB qualification, ALLMI C5 + E
• Minimum 2 years’ Class 2 and HIAB experience
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points for insurance purposes
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
• Reliable, hardworking and professional
• Strong communication and customer service skills
