Warehouse Operative

£33,000–£35,000 per annum | Temp to Perm Opportunity

Driver Hire Southampton is currently recruiting for a reliable, motivated and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join one of our well-established and growing clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to secure a long-term, permanent position with a company that values its employees and offers opportunities to progress within the business.

Please note: Our client is planning to relocate to Stockbridge towards the end of the year. This role is therefore particularly suited to candidates who are based in the Winchester/Andover area or those with their own transport and are happy to travel to the new location.

The Role

You will initially join the business within the packing department, learning the operation from the ground up and gaining a thorough understanding of the company’s products and processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Booking in deliveries and checking incoming goods.
• Preparing orders for dispatch.
• Organising and replenishing warehouse stock.
• Carrying out regular stock counts and inventory checks.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse.
• Working as part of a team to achieve daily targets.
• Following company procedures and maintaining high standards of accuracy.
• Taking on additional responsibilities as you develop within the business.

Working Hours

Current location:

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00–18:00

Following relocation:

• Monday to Friday
• 09:00–18:00

Salary & Benefits

• £33,000–£35,000 per annum.
• Monthly performance-related bonus after three months.
