Driver Hire Edinburgh West is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers for a variety of driving assignments with clients across West Lothian.

📦 Typical Duties
Depending on the assignment, duties may include:
- Trunking, single-drop and multi-drop deliveries and collections
- General haulage and pallet network work
- A–B vehicle movements
- Loading and unloading where required
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Ensuring compliance with drivers’ hours and transport legislation
- Following all health & safety and company procedures
📋 Driver Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 1 year’s Class 1 driving experience – essential
- Maximum 6 penalty points, minor offences only
- No IN, DD, DR or CD endorsements
- Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and transport regulations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
💷 Pay Rates
PAYE Basic: £15.50 per hour + holiday pay accrued
PAYE Advanced: £17.37 per hour
