Driver Hire Carlisle are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver (CAT CE) for our well known and established client in the Carlisle area. This is mostly a trunking role, but may include some general haulage. With multiple start times available for mornings, afternoons and nights our client offers complete flexibility for driver start times. The client is offering long-term on-going work and ADHOC shifts
What We Offer a HGV Class 1 Driver :
- £17.37-£25.00 PAYE ADV
- Shifts run across Monday-Sunday
- Assessment required
- Average 12 hour shifts
- Days , Afternoon and Night shifts available
- Ongoing and AD HOC Shifts available, complete flexibility..!!
Key Responsibilities for a HGV Class 1 Driver :
- General Haulage across the UK with 1-5 drops per shift
- Trunking
- Accurately complete delivery paperwork in line with company and legal requirement
- Adhere to all Health & Safety, transport regulations, and working time directives
- Represent the company professionally at all times
Experience & Qualifications for a HGV Class 1 Driver:
- Valid Class 1 licence, CPC, and Digi Card
- Minimum 6 months class 1 experience
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
- Assessment required for this role
