Driver Hire Bournemouth & Salisbury is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driver for a respected and established client based in Christchurch, Dorset.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, giving you the chance to secure a permanent role with an excellent local employer after a successful temporary period.

No previous Ro-Ro experience? No problem. Full training on Ro-Ro hook loader equipment will be provided.

The Role

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will:

• Drive a modern 32-tonne HGV Class 2 vehicle
• Deliver and collect Ro-Ro containers throughout Dorset and the surrounding areas
• Receive full training on Ro-Ro hook loading equipment
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks
• Provide a professional and friendly service to customers
• Work safely and follow all driving regulations

What We’re Looking For

To be considered, you’ll need:

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• A valid Driver CPC qualification
• A Digital Tachograph Card
• A professional, reliable and safety-focused attitude

Previous skip, Ro-Ro or hook loader experience is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
