Relief Van Driver

Driver Hire Nottingham is currently recruiting for a Relief Van Driver to work for one of our clients based in the NG7 area of Nottingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a varied, hands-on role with regular weekday hours and no weekend work.

The Role

As a Relief Van Driver, you’ll support the client’s day-to-day operations by carrying out a range of duties, including:

• Driving a company van to customer sites
• Collecting, delivering and servicing portable toilets
• Assisting in the yard when required
• Providing excellent customer service while representing the client
• Completing vehicle checks and following all health and safety procedures

No two days are the same, so we’re looking for someone who is flexible, reliable and happy to support the team wherever needed.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00am starts
• No weekend work

Pay

• From £12.71 per hour
• Daily overtime paid at £19.06 per hour after 8 hours worked

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A full UK driving licence
• The right to work in the UK
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A positive, flexible approach to work
• The ability to carry out manual handling as part of the role
