Class 2 Driver – Grangemouth – Temp to Perm
£17.70 per hour + holiday pay | Full ADR Training Provided | 12-Week Temp to Perm
We are currently recruiting for Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our team in Grangemouth, with the opportunity to be fully trained and put through your ADR qualification, including tanker certification.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Class 2 driver looking to develop their skills and move into tanker work. The position is offered on a 12-week Temp to Perm basis, with full training provided to the right candidates.
The Role
- Safely and professionally deliver tanker/LPG products to customers.
- Complete daily vehicle checks, defect reports, tachographs and driver paperwork accurately.
- Ensure vehicles are kept clean, safe and roadworthy.
- Follow all company, ADR, health & safety and environmental procedures.
- Report any accidents, incidents, spillages or vehicle defects promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
- Work flexibly to meet customer and business requirements.
- Support colleagues and assist with the training of new drivers where required.
Full Training Provided
For suitable Class 2 drivers who do not currently hold ADR, full training will be provided to put you through your ADR qualification, including tanker certification.
Before starting, drivers will also complete the required medical assessment.
Additional training will include:
- Spillage response and awareness
- Manual handling
- Working at heights
- ADR and tanker safety procedures
- Full site and role-specific training
Pay & Benefits
- £17.70 per hour – accrued holiday pay
- £19.84 per hour – advanced holiday pay
- Time and a half on Saturdays
- Minimum 165 hours per month
- 30 days’ holiday per year, including 2 days at Christmas and 2 days at New Year
- Full ADR training provided for suitable candidates
- 12-week Temp to Perm opportunity for the right candidate

The Ideal Candidate
- Valid Class 2 HGV licence
- Previous tanker/LPG experience is preferred but not essential
- ADR qualification is advantageous, but training will be provided
- Good understanding of driver hours and tachograph regulations
- Strong commitment to health & safety
- Professional, reliable and customer-focused attitude
- Flexible, hands-on and willing to work as part of a team
- Willing to complete a medical and all required training before starting
