Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently recruiting Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to support a range of clients across Edinburgh City.

This is a flexible, ad hoc role, ideal for drivers looking to pick up shifts around their availability while earning competitive rates.

🕒 The Role

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle across Edinburgh City and surrounding areas
• Completing a mix of deliveries depending on client requirements
• Some roles may involve manual handling and multi-drop work
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and completing relevant paperwork
• Providing a professional and reliable service at all times

💰 Pay Rates

PAYE:

• £14.50 per hour
• £19.32 per hour (overtime after 8 hours)

PAYE Advanced:

• £16.25 per hour
• £21.66 per hour (overtime after 8 hours)

✅ Weekly pay
✅ Minimum hours paid per shift (client dependent)

✅ What You’ll Need

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• No more than 9 penalty points (no DD, DR, CD, or IN endorsements)
• Good level of fitness (some roles may involve manual handling)
• Reliable and flexible approach to work
