Are you a skilled HIAB driver looking for flexible, well-paid work that fits around your schedule? This opportunity is ideal for drivers experienced in agency-style roles, including those who have worked with organisations such as Driver Hire.
We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HIAB (Remote Grab) Driver to support a well-established client delivering across Edinburgh and surrounding areas on an ad hoc basis.
💷 Pay Rates (PAYE)
- £16.20 per hour (Standard)
- £18.16 per hour (Advanced – includes holiday pay)
- £21.59 per hour (Overtime)
- £24.20 per hour (Advanced Overtime)
💡 Weekly pay with flexible shifts available
🗓 Working Pattern
- Ad hoc shifts (as required)
- Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work available
- ⏰ Typical start time: 08:00
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Class 2 HIAB vehicle with remote grab
- Completing multi-drop deliveries safely and efficiently
- Delivering across Edinburgh and surrounding areas
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and completing paperwork
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
✅ Requirements
- Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid HIAB certification – ALLMI C5+E (essential)
- AITT or RTITB certification also accepted
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous HIAB driving experience preferred
- Reliable, flexible, and safety-conscious approach
