Driver Hire Reading are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing supplier to the construction industry, currently seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join their Wokingham team.

This is a varied role combining driving duties with warehouse support, ideal for drivers who enjoy being part of a hands-on, team-focused environment.

🔧 The Role

• Delivering and collecting goods across London and the Home Counties

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring roadworthiness

• Completing delivery paperwork accurately

• Supporting warehouse operations (picking, packing, loading)

• Assisting with forklift duties where required

• Maintaining high health & safety and FORS standards

• Ensuring professional presentation and customer service at all times

✅ Requirements

• Valid Category C (Class 2) licence

• CPC qualification and Digital Tacho Card

• Confident driving in and around London

• Good communication and organisational skills

• Physically fit (manual handling required)

• Forklift experience advantageous (training may be provided)

• Minimum age 25 (insurance purposes)
