Class 2 HIAB Grab Driver – Roofing Specialist

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HIAB Grab Driver to join a well-established roofing specialist based in Uddingston. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate, offering consistent hours and the chance to secure a long-term role.

Start Date: Monday 7th April
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:30pm
• Friday: 7:00am – 4:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB grab
• Delivering roofing materials to various sites
• Assisting with loading/unloading where required
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintaining compliance with regulations

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• HIAB certification (Grab attachment essential)
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Good knowledge of health & safety practices
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
