Driver Hire Darlington is looking for an experienced and reliable Class 1 Night Driver to join our team on a long‑term, full‑time basis. This role involves consistent night‑time trunking work with a regular 8pm start, offering stability and ongoing shifts with a respected local client.
The Role
- Night trunking runs with a fixed 8pm start
- Operating modern Class 1 vehicles
- Minimal handball – primarily trailer swaps or trunking
- Completing relevant paperwork and following all safety/transport procedures
- Representing both Driver Hire and our client to a high standard
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Current CPC qualification & Digital Tachograph card
- Previous Class 1 driving experience
- Good understanding of driver hours and Working Time Directive
- Reliability, professionalism, and a strong safety focus
