We are currently recruiting for a full-time HGV Class 2 Driver for full time work in Darlington.
We’re looking for an experienced and confident driver to join our client in Darlington. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, as you’ll be working across tippers, HIAB, clam/grab work and 8‑wheeler hook‑lift. You’ll be delivering to both trade and domestic customers as part of a small team. This is a full‑time role with an immediate start available.
What’s on Offer
- Monday to Friday
- £17.50 per hour (PAYE)
Your Day-to-Day
- Operate HIAB safely and efficiently
- Load/unload materials (some manual handling involved)
- Deliver to commercial and domestic customers
- Complete delivery records and vehicle logs
- Carry out routine vehicle checks and report defects
What You’ll Need
- Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC & Digital Tacho Card
- HIAB ticket
- No DR, IN, or TT endorsements
