LGV Cat C Driver – Flatbed Steel Deliveries
Location: Cullompton
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00–17:00
Employment Type: Permanent
About the Role
We are recruiting for an LGV Cat C Driver to carry out flatbed steel deliveries for our established and growing business. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for a dependable and professional driver.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering steel products safely and efficiently
- Securing loads using correct restraint methods (chains preferred)
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
- Maintaining high driving and customer service standards
- Representing the business professionally at all delivery sites
Vehicles are preloaded, and all unloading is completed by forklift at customer locations.
Salary & Benefits Package
- 1 hour paid lunch break per day
- £8.00 daily lunch allowance
- £50 monthly attendance bonus
- Package including benefits starting at £36,166 per annum, rising to £37,946 from 1st April 2026
- Full training and development provided
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays
What We’re Looking For
- LGV Cat C licence (essential)
- Experience transporting steel and using chains (preferred but not mandatory)
- A positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to safety
- Good communication and customer interaction skills
Newly Qualified Drivers Welcome
Full training is provided, making this an excellent entry‑level opportunity for new drivers.
Insurance Requirements
Due to insurance restrictions, applicants must have:
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Only SP or CU80 endorsements accepted
