🚛 HGV Class 1 Drivers Required – Driver Hire Edinburgh West
📍 Location: West Lothian
💷 Rate: £15.00 per hour
🕒 Work Pattern: Ad hoc / Casual / Part-time
Occasional full-time hours may be available, however these are not guaranteed.
Driver Hire Edinburgh West is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) drivers to support a range of clients throughout West Lothian. This role is ideal for drivers seeking flexible, non-permanent work, with the freedom to choose shifts that suit their availability.

👌 Driver Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
-
CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
-
Minimum of 1 year’s Class 1 driving experience (essential)

No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences
(No IN, DD, DR or CD endorsements) -
Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and transport legislation

Strong communication and customer service skills

A professional, reliable and flexible approach
🚚 Typical Duties May Include

Trunking, store deliveries and depot-to-depot runs
-
General haulage and pallet network work
-
A–B vehicle movements
-
Coupling and uncoupling trailers
-
Loading and unloading where required
-
Completing daily vehicle checks and working in line with safety standards
