Class 1 HGV Driver

Driver Hire Preston are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to work for our client based in Leyland. Our client specialises in fencing products and supplies, and this is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver seeking ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position.

The Role:

• Driving a Class 1 HGV vehicle

• No handball involved

• Working hours: 06:00 – 16:30

• Hourly rate: £14.00 – £16.00 

• Ongoing position with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate

• Immediate start available

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year Class 1 HGV driving experience

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence

• Valid CPC qualification

• Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi) Card

• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only)

The Ideal Candidate:

• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance

• Positive attitude towards work

• Good level of customer service skills

• Professional and presentable at all times
