Driver Hire Bristol is recruiting for a Class 2 (Category C) Driver to carry out bulk wood pellet deliveries to commercial and domestic customers. This is a full-time, secure role with full training provided, offering long-term career prospects within the renewable heating fuel sector.

The Role:

Deliver bulk heating fuel products to domestic and commercial customers

Drive and operate manual Class 2 bulk delivery vehicles in line with company and legal requirements

Ensure the vehicle remains safe, roadworthy, and compliant at all times

Load and discharge product safely following company procedures

Obtain customer signatures and provide a professional on-site service

Report unsafe delivery conditions quickly and accurately

Work pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with winter Saturday rota

Overtime available and expected during peak winter demand and as required throughout the year
Pay & Benefits:

Basic salary £37,000

OTE £40K+ with overtime and winter enhancements

Weekly PAYE pay (holiday pay included via advanced holiday payment method)

What You’ll Need:

Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence

Confidence driving manual gearbox vehicles (essential)

Valid CPC and Digital Tacho cards

No minimum bulk delivery experience required — full training provided

Clean licence preferred (up to 6 points accepted)

Strong focus on safety, reliability, and customer service

Willingness to work overtime during winter peak and support nearby depots when required
