Driver Hire Newark is recruiting a C1+E ADR-P and Hook HIAB Driver to join one of our Grantham-based clients. This role is available as soon as possible and offers the potential for a full-time position after 12 weeks on agency.

The Role:

  • Driving a Ford Ranger or 7.5 tonne van and trailer delivering batters
  • Occasional driving of their C1+E Hook HIAB lorry
  • A varied role requiring flexibility and a hands-on approach
  • Carry out pre safety checks on vehicles/ trailers/Hiab as legally required
  • Collect and deliver batteries to car dealerships

Shifts & Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 08:00am start
  • Friday finish at 13:30pm
  • Monday to Friday working pattern

Pay Rates:

  • Assignment rates starting at £18.00 per hour
  • Overtime paid daily after 8.5 hours at £27.00 per hour

To be considered, you must have:

  • Valid Class 2 licence with minimum 1 year experience
  • In-date CPC and a valid digital tachograph card
  • Valid and in-date ADR licence – Class 9
  • C1+E Hook HIAB attachment certificate
  • Confidence driving both vehicle/trailer combinations and HIAB lorries
