Driver Hire Bridgwater is recruiting Class 2 drivers for an excellent, long-term opportunity with a brilliant Client. This is a varied and engaging role delivering specialist equipment nationwide, typically one drop per day, and you will always work as part of a team.
The Role
Nationwide deliveries of specialist equipment
Mainly 1 drop per shift
Team-based work every day — you’ll never be sent out alone
Hands-on unloading at the customer site with your team (specialist equipment- some forklifted by team manual handling also required)
Ongoing Monday to Friday work with the option of a permanent placement
Start Times & Working Pattern
Start times vary depending on delivery location
Typically 07:00–08:00 starts
Occasional early starts from 04:00 (not regular)
Nights Away (Occasional)
Some larger jobs may require an overnight stay
Typically 1–3 nights per month
Accommodation and allowance provided
No Nights in the lorry (Team all stay in hotels)
Pay
£15.00 per hour to start
Rising to £15.34 per hour after successful training
Overtime after 45 hours: £16.96–per hour

What You’ll Need
HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence
A positive, team-focused approach
Willingness to assist with unloading specialist equipment (as part of a team, manual handling can be required)
