Driver Hire Bristol is recruiting for a Class 2 (Category C) Relief RCV Driver to support a busy waste and recycling operation based in the Keynsham area. This role is ideal for drivers with previous RCV experience who are happy to be hands-on, working alongside a refuse loader to empty bins as well as driving the vehicle.

The Role:

Drive a Class 2 RCV on residential and commercial waste routes

Get in and out of the vehicle regularly and assist with emptying bins alongside the refuse loader

Operate RCV lifting equipment safely and efficiently

Start time 06:00, with finish times depending on the route

Complete daily vehicle checks and all required paperwork

Maintain high standards of health & safety at all times

Provide cover for sickness, holidays, and peak demand
Pay & Benefits:

£16.30 – £18.26 per hour (includes holiday pay via advanced holiday payment method)

What You’ll Need:

Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence

Valid CPC and Digital Tacho cards

Previous RCV driving experience – essential
