Driver Hire Ayrshire are currently hiring for a local company, based just outside of Ayr. If you are motivated, reliable, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment this could be for you.
Shifts:
- Minimum 8 hour shifts starting at 06.00hrs. Due to the early morning starts, having your own transport is essential due to location and start time. These shifts are temporary but could lead to full time employment for the right candidates. No weekend work involved.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in loading and unloading goods from the vehicle
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery times
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
Requirements:
- Must be physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting, which will involve working outside in various weather conditions .
- Possess safety footwear in compliance with safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team and contribute positively to the work environment.
- Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills.
- Previous experience in logistics is a plus, but not essential.
