Salary: £30,000–£36,000 + Uncapped Commission
OTE: £50,000–£60,000
Plus: Personal & Company Performance Bonuses
Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time
Travel: Somerset & Bath (face-to-face client meetings)

Driver Hire Bridgwater is entering an exciting new phase of growth following the continued success of our award-winning office. We are now seeking a Business Development Manager to take ownership of regional growth and play a pivotal role in shaping our next stage of expansion.
This is a senior, consultative role suited to a commercially driven professional who enjoys building long-term, high-value relationships and operating at decision-maker level. You will represent the Driver Hire brand across the region, working autonomously to develop sustainable partnerships rather than chasing short-term wins.
The Role – Strategic Business Development & Relationship Growth
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving regional growth through a solutions-based recruitment offering, delivering tailored workforce solutions across both temporary and permanent roles, including training provision and licence compliance support.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading strategic business development activity across the region
Building and managing a high-value portfolio of regional clients
Conducting regular face-to-face meetings to strengthen relationships and uncover opportunities
Taking a consultative, solutions-led approach to understand client challenges and add genuine value
Driving revenue growth through account expansion, upselling, and cross-selling
Increasing brand presence and market penetration across key local sectors
This role is focused on quality conversations, long-term partnerships, and true commercial ownership.
About You

Are an experienced B2B sales or business development professional
Thrive in consultative, relationship-led selling environments
Are commercially astute and confident negotiating at senior level
Are comfortable managing pipelines, forecasts, and KPIs
Enjoy autonomy, accountability, and visibility
Want to make a tangible impact within a growing, high-performing business
Experience within recruitment, transport, logistics, or a service-led environment is highly desirable.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
