Class 1 HGV Driver
Pay:
- Day Shift, Monday to Friday = £17.50 per hour (Overtime available)
Immediate starts available with ongoing work.
Shift pattern:
- Monday to Friday (Weekends available)
- Varied start times from 6 am
- 10 – 12 hour shifts
Description:
- General haulage across UK – usually imports
- Driving Class 1 curtain sider truck
- Generally 1 – 2 drops / collections per day
- Making deliveries to customers across whole of UK
- Stripping down of trailers
- Daily vehicle checks – reporting any issues
- Customer facing role with each drop
Skills / Qualification:
- Held Class 1 licence for 2+ years
- CPC and Tacho card
- No more than 6 points
- No major endorsements
- Good understanding of written and spoken English
