Driver Hire Edinburgh West – HGV Class 2 Drivers Required

💷 Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
🕒 Contract Type: Ad Hoc / Casual / Part-Time

Are you a skilled Class 2 (Category C) driver seeking flexible work without the commitment of a permanent role? Driver Hire Edinburgh West is looking for dependable, safety-conscious drivers to cover a variety of ad hoc shifts across West Lothian.

What You’ll Need:

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card

Minimum of 1 year’s Class 2 driving experience (essential)

No more than 6 points for minor offences
(No IN, DD, DR or CD endorsements) -
Good understanding of driver hours and road regulations

Strong communication and customer service skills
-
A professional and adaptable attitude
Typical Duties Include:
-
Multi-drop and single-drop deliveries and collections
(e.g. steel, office furniture, food & drink, construction materials, etc.) -
A-to-B vehicle movements
-
General haulage and pallet network work
-
Loading and unloading where required
-
Daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with safety standards
