Class 2 HGV Driver
📍 Location: Birkenhead, CH42
💰 Pay: £14.00 per hour (PAYE accrued) –£15.68 per hour (PAYE advanced – includes holiday pay)
📅 Type: Temporary
🕕 Shifts: Monday–Friday, varying start times
About the Role
We’re looking for a dependable Class 2 HGV Driver to join our client’s team in Birkenhead. This role involves operating a Jet-Vac vehicle and working alongside a teammate to deliver drainage and waste management services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and operate a Class 2 Jet-Vac vehicle for drainage services
- Visit residential, commercial, and construction sites across the region
- Assist with the setup and operation of specialist drainage equipment
- Follow company procedures and maintain strict health & safety standards
This is a hands-on position that requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent service.
What You’ll Need
- Cat C Licence
- Valid CPC & Digi Card
- CSCS Card
- Minimum 1 year Class 2 HGV experience
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
- Strong customer service skills
