🚐 Van Driver – Ongoing Full-Time Role
📍 Dalcross, Inverness
💷 £12.71 per hour (PAYE)
🕒 Start Date: Immediate | Monday to Friday
Driver Hire Inverness is recruiting a Van Driver to be based in Dalcross, You will be delivering a variety of items throughout the Highlands with a drivers mate.. This is a full-time ongoing role, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, has strong communication skills, and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
✅ What We Offer:
- Full time, ongoing work.
- Monday to Friday starting at 0600
- PAYE – £12.71 per hour
- Permanent position offered to right person.
🚚 Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver furniture throughout the Highlands with a drivers mate
- Operate a delivery system app
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while following road safety regulations
- Load and unload goods, including manual handling
- Communicate effectively with the onsite team and customers
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues
📋 Requirements:
- Valid UK Cat B Driving Licence
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (No DR, CD, IN or TT codes)
- Good local area knowledge (preferred but not essential)
