Contract Type: Ad-Hoc, Part-Time (2-5 shifts per week)
We are looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our home delivery team based in Crewe. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a home delivery contract, delivering a range of products directly to customers’ homes. The successful candidate will be delivering items like furniture, tools, and other DIY products in a friendly and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a Class 2 vehicle to deliver DIY products to customers’ homes across the local area.
- Work alongside a Driver’s Mate, who will assist with paperwork and lifting at delivery points.
- Ensure deliveries are completed in a timely and professional manner, while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Ad-hoc shift pattern – availability to work between 2-5 shifts per week, including weekends. Flexibility is key.
- Weekend work will be required
- Additional hours are available at other contracts to bulk out your weekly schedule if desired.
Requirements:
- Minimum 24 months of driving experience with a Class 2 vehicle.
- No more than 6 penalty points on your driving license.
- CPC & Digi card.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to represent the company professionally at all times.
- Physically fit, as lifting and moving products will be part of the job.
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekdays and weekends, to meet the needs of the contract.
What We Offer:
- Competitive pay rates:
- £15.13 per hour (Monday to Friday)
- £17.37 per hour (Saturday)
- £18.48 per hour (Sunday & Bank Holiday)
- Rates include holiday pay
- Opportunity to pick up additional shifts across other contracts if you want to bulk out your hours.
