Driver Hire Edinburgh West – Class 1 Drivers Wanted
Location: West Lothian
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Job Type: Ad Hoc / Casual / Part-Time (Occasional full-time hours may be available but not guaranteed)
Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 driver looking for flexible, varied work without the commitment of a full-time role? Driver Hire Edinburgh West is seeking professional, reliable, and safety-focused Class 1 drivers to support our clients across West Lothian on an ad hoc basis.

What We’re Looking For:

A valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence

Valid CPC certification and Digital Tachograph Card
-
Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience – essential

No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only) and no IN, DD, DR or CD endorsements

Strong communication and customer service skills

Solid understanding of driver hours and transport regulations

A professional and adaptable attitude
Typical Duties May Include:
-
Trunking, trailer swaps, and long-distance A–B movements
-
General haulage or pallet network work
-
Deliveries and collections across various industries
-
Loading/unloading when required
-
Completing vehicle checks and maintaining safety compliance
