🚚 Class 2 (Cat C) Driver – Temp to Perm Opportunity!
Location: Southampton area
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am–3:30pm (with overtime available)
Duration: 12-week temp to perm
Driver Hire Winchester has a fantastic opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified Class 2 drivers to join a respected business within the wholesale industry. Whether you’re looking for a new challenge or starting your HGV career, we’d love to hear from you!
💼 The Role:
- Delivering customer orders to independent convenience stores and petrol forecourts
- Handling multidrop deliveries – a mix of cages and pallets
- Loading and unloading using tail lifts and pump trucks
- Ensuring all goods are delivered safely on time, and with great customer service
✅ What You’ll Need:
- Full UK Class 2 licence, valid CPC and Tacho card
- Good timekeeping and a professional attitude
- Own transport (due to the client’s location)
- Confidence using tail lifts, pump trucks, and ratchet straps
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Newly qualified drivers are welcome!
