Forklift & Warehouse Operatives – Equestrian Industry
Pay Rate: £15.68 per hour (PAYE Advanced)
Driver Hire Winchester are recruiting experienced and proactive Forklift/Warehouse Operatives to join our client’s busy warehouse in the equestrian sector. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.
Shift Details
- Ongoing role with permanent opportunity
- Monday to Saturday (5 days per week)
- 7:00am – 5:30pm (1-hour lunch break)
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out regular stock checks and assist with stocktaking
- Pick, pack and wrap orders ready for dispatch
- Organise and maintain warehouse stock, ensuring safe and accurate storage
- Operate warehouse equipment including B2 forklift, pallet trucks, and VNA trucks
- Receive, check and unload deliveries, ensuring accuracy against documentation
What We’re Looking For
- Full UK driving licence and own transport (due to location)
- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- Valid B2 Forklift licence (required)
- VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) experience (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident with heavy lifting and manual handling
- Strong time management, organisational and teamwork skills
