Driver Hire Sheffield are currently recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramping Drivers to work with an established client across South Yorkshire and throughout the UK. This role involves nights out and long-distance deliveries, offering ongoing work for the right candidate.
Commutable from Sheffield, Rotherham & Chesterfield
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out nationwide Class 1 (C+E) deliveries and collections
- Complete all relevant digital paperwork and vehicle checks accurately- that will be logged on apps.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent Driver Hire Sheffield professionally on every assignment
Requirements:
- Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence (held for a minimum of 2 years)
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (for client insurance purposes)
- Previous tramping or long-distance experience preferred
- Reliable, flexible, and professional with good communication skills
