About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Chilled Warehouse Operative & Van Driver to join our clients team. This is a hands-on role that starts early and offers a great opportunity for someone looking for stable, ongoing work with the potential to go permanent.
Your day will start at 5am, unloading fresh stock from a chilled container. Once unloading and stock checks are complete, you may be required to complete van deliveries from 10am, depending on stock and delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Unloading and handling fresh chilled stock safely and efficiently.
Completing manual handling tasks throughout the shift.
Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.
Carrying out local van deliveries when needed (typically from 10am).
Ensuring all work is completed accurately and safely, maintaining high hygiene standards.
Requirements
Previous warehouse or delivery experience (chilled environment preferred).
Full UK driving licence (o points)
Over 25 due to insurance
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
Reliable, punctual, and able to start work at 5am.
What We Offer
